Fun with Slides

I got my first transparencies back from the lab on Friday, all I can says is wow. I had no idea that they would look as nice as they do. Here are a couple of the good ones:

Both were taken with my Mamiya with the 90mm lens on Velvia 50, 1/8th @ f/32.

Did you use your new scanner with these lovely shots?

Thank you, yes I did use my scanner on these ones. I have found that it's very good with the medium format negatives/positives and even does 35mm quite a bit of justice.

Is that last photo/slide a part of Tintern Abbey?

Hi abi, both of these shots were of Llanthony Abbey which is in a much worse state than Tintern; the arches are really the only main thing left standing at Llanthony. I have shots of both of them on my website so you can see the difference if you want.
